Dusting off the cobwebs
This week I dusted off the cobwebs and put some serious KMs on the bike. 370KM this week including a massive 165KM recon of the 300KM course. The Arthurs-Flinders-Red Hill loop was tough! 50KM round trip and almost 1000m of climbing. Its a lumpy loop with some 10-15% sections that really zapped the life out of my legs.
With just under 12 weeks to go, I'll need to maintain this intensity level if I want to make the 300. Wish me luck!
