I'm riding in Around the Bay 2018 to help kids in need!

And it's my goal is to raise $1000 through my ride to help these kids break the cycle of disadvantage.

In Australia, 1 in 7 Children are growing up in disadvantaged homes, where even the basics in life are hard to come by.

But supporting their education is the key to breaking the cycle of disadvantage.

So I'm going to give my personal best on the bike, so these kids can achieve their personal best in life!

Please support my ride! Your donation will give children in need essentials like school books, bags, uniforms, shoes and the help they need to keep up at school.

Not only will your donation help the kids but it will give me great motivation to keep pedalling on the big day!

Thanks for your support (and wish me luck!)

Around the bay in a day - 300km in one day, what could go wrong!

Big weekend coming; Friday fly to Melbourne from Perth, Saturday short test ride to make sure the bike is ok and then 5.30am Sunday morning we set off from Albert Park for Queenscliff via Geelong and Portarlington. Short ferry ride across the bay and then it's back on the bike and a short 150km ride back to Melbourne via a small detour up a very steep Arthur's seat.

All for a great cause though. Densie and I sponsor a couple of children via The Smith Family so we know what great work they do. If this ride can help raise awareness of the needs of under privilged children than that's a good thing. There is no better way to break the poverty cycle for an under privilged child than by providing them with an education.

If you can spare a few dollars that would be greatly appreciated,
